Digital Marketing Apprentice

What you’ll do at work


Help develop and grow the network’s social media presence through the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network’s (AAN) four core areas of activity including; celebrating, signposting, storytelling and insight.

  • Develop and make relevant updates to the LAAN web portal, sharing case studies, crafting blog posts and profiling network members

  • Produce copy for the internal e-newsletter, proofreading and editing content prior to publishing

  • Circulate regular news and industry updates, often of high-importance to network members, making sure information is accurate and grammatically correct

  • Coordinate and deliver National Apprenticeship Week network events and activities

  • Represent the network at large-scale conferences and careers fairs, raising the profile of apprenticeships and advertising opportunities whilst sharing live updates via social media to promote presence

  • Plan and coordinate quarterly LAAN network meetings, producing branded PowerPoint templates, managing ambassador attendance, circulating materials and, on occasion, cohosting with the network Chair

  • Regularly maintain and update spreadsheets of LAAN ambassadors against the occupational sector and size

  • Act as the primary liaison with ambassadors to collate and gather activity through virtual / face-to-face meetings

  • Pull together quarterly reports on the LAAN Business Plan and Common Indicators, including activity dashboards and highlights

GCSE in:

Essential Skills Required:-

Competent using Microsoft packages including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Competent using outlook email & the internet

Understanding of LinkedIn / Twitter and Facebook social media channels
